The patch leads needs to be used in conjunction with the steering interfaces and are specific to the make of head unit
eg. For a BMW with an Pioneer head unit purchase the correct BMW steering interface and the Pioneer patch lead
For an Autoleads steering interface choose an Autoleads patch lead and for a Connects2 steering interface
a Connects2 patch lead is required.
When used with a steering interface, the original factory fit head unit can be changed to an after market version and the existing steering control can be retained.
